A BODY AND OTHER OBJECTS moves through shifting states, oscillating between gravity, weight and levitation, body and object, reality and imagination. In this duet, Ana and Vincent sketch ephemeral geometries in space through hair-hanging, partnering and martial arts, exploring how bodies negotiate space, power and care, refusing fixed roles and opening fluid relations. Each gesture reveals a fragile mechanics, where trust and consent are built and renegotiated in real time.
What emerges is strangely delicate, a sensitive exploration of the forces that hold us, of our shared fantasy of flight and our desire for transcendence.
In intimate proximity to the audience, the spectator becomes an active and benevolent presence within the experience. Slow, intimate and deeply human, the piece creates a suspended sense of time, inviting audiences into an experience of attention, listening and contemplation, celebrating care, symbiosis and the invisible threads between all things, animate and inanimate alike.
