The fAUNA | habitat de criação artistic residency programme supports projects in the fields of the performing arts and cross-disciplinary practices. It is aimed at national and international creators based in Portugal, as well as artistic and production organisations responsible for the proposed projects.

Applications for residencies taking place in 2026 and 2027, within the sub-programmes Criadores de Espécie Autóctone, Criadores de Espécie Exótica and Germinador, are open from 6 January to 6 February. Each year, up to two projects per sub-programme will be selected, for a residency period of ten days.

Within the Germinador sub-programme, residencies will have a duration of one week.
