M.A.R. – Mostra de Artes de Rua returns to Sines on 12, 13 and 14 September 2025, renewing its commitment to artistic creation in public space and to valuing the territory as a stage for encounter, discovery and transformation.

In this 7th edition, M.A.R. once again occupies the streets, historical heritage and natural landscapes of the city, fostering new ways of looking at and inhabiting shared space. More than a festival, it positions itself as an act of re-signification of the everyday, in a time when technological advances and the culture of home entertainment increasingly distance people from collective city life.

In a social context marked by fragmentation and isolation, M.A.R. asserts public space as a place of resistance and transformation. It proposes itself as an open and inclusive artistic territory, where contemporary languages intersect and where a sense of belonging, celebration and collective memory is built. With a programme that brings together national and international works, the festival reaffirms art as a vital connection for shaping more human, diverse and vibrant cities.
