From 25 to 27 July, Paredes de Coura once again invites the public to step into a universe where imagination turns everyday life upside down and the impossible takes shape. For three days, O Mundo ao Contrário transforms the town’s streets, squares and gardens into an open stage for all ages, where laughter, wonder and creativity take centre stage. The programme brings together different artistic languages – from theatre to circus, from music to visual arts – always with a strong focus on participation and community involvement, encouraging families and local residents to experiment, create and share.

The festival presents free performances and activities, featuring national and international artists who challenge conventions and reinvent the relationship between art and public space. Alongside the artistic programme, the event includes creative workshops, interactive games and unexpected installations, creating a unique atmosphere that celebrates connection and invites new ways of looking at daily life.
