In 2026, the 11th edition of the Trengo circus festival takes place from June 17 to 21 at Parque do Covelo, Teatro Rivoli, Teatro Campo Alegre, Clube Erva Daninha, Coliseu Porto Ageas and Cace in Porto, it also has extensions in Penafiel with Ponto C and in Viseu with the Teatro Viriato. It has more than 18 presentations of 12 shows from Portugal, Belgium, France and Catalonia and several extra activities before and during the Festival.

Trengo is a programming event organized by Erva Daninha that in 2026 has the co-production of Ágora Cultura e Esporte do Porto, with the support of Coliseu Porto Ageas, Acción Cultural Española (AC/E), CIRC – INO (La Grainerie, Erasmus+, Institut Français, Mairie de Toulouse, La Région Occitanie) and Wallonie – Bruxelles. It has as partners the Teatro Viriato, the Ponto C and the Festival Vaudeville Rendez-Vous | Teatro da Didascália.

It also has the support of Hotel Visconde, Micampus, Espaço Agra and Zarzo Restaurant. And the Europe For Festival Festivals for Europe – Remarkble Arts Festival 2026-2027 seal of the European Festivals Association.

Erva Daninha is a structure funded by the PORTUGUESE REPUBLIC – CULTURE, YOUTH AND SPORT/DIRECTORATE-GENERAL OF THE ARTS through the four-year sustained support program for circus programming in the 2023 – 2026 cycle.
