Applications are now open for the Showcase Online Outdoor Arts Portugal 2025, which will take place on 18 November 2025, in a fully digital format. As part of the Outdoor Arts Portugal platform, this programme provides an international stage for artists and companies working in the fields of artistic creation in public space and contemporary circus in Portugal.

Through this open call, four artistic projects conceived for public space will be selected, ready for touring in the summer of 2026, and presented in a pitch format during the online showcase session. The event, streamed live and later made available for viewing, seeks to strengthen the visibility of Portuguese creation and stands as a key instrument for the internationalisation of the sector.

Eligible applications include innovative projects, either completed or in the final stages of creation, that demonstrate strong artistic and dramaturgical relevance as well as touring capacity. Special consideration will be given to proposals from emerging artists and creators at a turning point in their careers, as well as projects that integrate sustainability, diversity, and inclusion within their artistic practices.

Applications must be submitted by 18:00 (Lisbon time) on 30 September 2025, by completing the online form and sending at least two high-definition photographs of the project to info@outdoorarts.pt. Failure to provide any of these required elements will result in the exclusion of the application.

Proposals will be assessed by the Outdoor Arts Portugal team, based on artistic relevance, merit, alignment with the programme’s principles, and touring potential. The selected projects will be announced to applicants by 14 October 2025.
