Launched in 2018, Mostra Estufa was born from a shared ambition between Erva Daninha and Teatro Municipal do Porto to create space for new languages, aesthetics and dramaturgies in contemporary circus. This annual programme seeks to nurture new creations that bring circus closer to contemporary artistic trends. Beyond its public programme, Estufa provides a range of support for artistic creation, helping to strengthen and consolidate projects through funding, artistic residencies, communication, production, training, lighting, video, photography, technical support and more.

In 2026, Estufa brings to a close a cycle spanning nine editions and 27 new creations by artists working across different techniques, perspectives, backgrounds, ages and genders. This final edition presents three distinct perspectives on balance and object manipulation, featuring Inês Pinho, Pedro Matias and Vasco Gomes.
