Imaginarius PRO 2026

In a festival shaped by encounters, Imaginarius PRO creates the conditions for those encounters to happen with meaning, proximity and purpose. The PRO section is conceived as a space for professionals, yet experienced with the same openness, curiosity and generosity that runs through the entire festival programme. Here, encounters do not take place at the margins, they happen at the centre, in the rhythm of Imaginarius, between performances, ideas, people and perspectives.

In this edition, Imaginarius PRO embraces a lighter, more relational and close approach. The sessions for sharing and presenting are designed to encourage listening, exchange and unhurried conversation, allowing encounters to extend naturally over time. By positioning itself within the pulsating core of the festival, it assumes that reflecting on the sector makes more sense when it happens in the same place where art is tested, exposed to risk and meets its audiences, not as a parallel programme, but as a living part of what is taking place.

The programme is structured around four key moments that follow the rhythm of the festival. The “contexts of creation” sessions, on 22 and 23 May, present short-format pitches of artistic projects in development, opening creative processes to listening and dialogue between artists and professionals. On 22 May, the visit to the Imaginarius Creation Centre offers an opportunity to explore the spaces, working models and the ways in which projects are supported throughout the year, in direct connection with the local context. On 23 May, the conference “Imagining: culture, coexistence and the city in an unstable world”, by Charles Landry, proposes a reflection on the role of culture in shaping the contemporary city, within a context marked by instability and transformation.

Participation in Imaginarius PRO is open to cultural professionals, including artists, programmers, curators, managers and students, who wish to experience the festival from a closer and more engaged perspective. Registration is free and grants access to all PRO activities and the conference, as well as to the PRO space, a dedicated place to meet, converse and build connections between professionals and programmed artists. Participants will also have early access to the registered professionals database, facilitating prior contact and meeting scheduling, and will be part of a dedicated digital community that extends networking opportunities throughout the festival. Registration is open until 15 May via the official Imaginarius website.
